Guest use

Your services, languages, ratings and watchlist are stored in this browser. Clearing browser data removes the guest profile.

Your account

When you sign in, Cue stores your preferences, ratings, saved titles and watched history against your account. Clerk handles authentication; Cue does not store your password. Signing out clears the active account’s local cache, not its saved server profile.

Recommendations

Cue uses TMDB and OMDb for title information. If you enter a written request, it may be sent to OpenAI with a short list of candidates to improve the results. Do not include personal or sensitive information in that request.

Watching together

Partner connections require an invitation and acceptance. Recommendations use derived taste weights; a partner does not receive your full ratings or personal watchlist. You can disconnect in Together.

Product analytics

Cue records recommendation sessions, requests, feedback and actions such as opening a watch link or sharing a pick. These help measure whether the product helps people choose. Shared links contain the selected title, explanation and an opaque referral identifier. Anyone with the link can read that shared pick.
